Linuxvision is about to release the source code of Sheba Linuxvision Arabic Enabler End User Desktop Client and also a full Arabic Linux Distribution CDs.

Linuxvision has started the first Arabization systems to support its 1st customer Allah.com's free Arabic Islamic college, which al-Hamdulillah has more than 6000 students and over 200,000 pages of Islamic traditions.

Making Sheba the first and the best Arabization client for Linux in which you can browse and type Arabic in Linux desktop.

Now, the Linuxvision is about to release the source code of "Sheba Linuxvision Arabization End-User Desktop Client" according to "THE LINUXVISION SHEBA END-USER SPECIAL LICENSE" which will allow end users to use it and add value to the software, but they cannot redistribute it nor use in any manner other than personal use. Otherwise they have to talk business with Linuxvision.

As far as the Linuxvision Sheba Arabic Distribution CD, they will be released soon. As a matter of fact we are announcing an award for any clever programmer who can work on such task:

Install Sheba

make a distribution CD carrying the Linuxvision Logo "the head of Sheba"

As far the source code of Linuxvision "Sheba Linux Arabization Server Package" it not be released and only for relicensing for business use only, or incorporated in Linuxvision Enterprise solutions such as Helal-Sheba medical solutions etc.

FAQ:

1- Should I close the X window before installation?
No. Although the installation program can work in text mode, we recommend starting it while X is running.

2- I installed Sheba, but still can't read arabic texts. What will I do?
Run the configuration program and enable arabic in it.

3- How to change arabic settings?
From the Gnome start menu, run "Arabic Configuration Options" from the "Settings" submenu. And follow the instruction. Or
from a terminal emulator run "asheba_config -c".

4- After uninstalling Sheba, gnome menu items become unreadable. What will I do?
Each user should disable arabic through the configuration program before uninstalling sheba.
