Fernando Cassia's FAQ
for Java Install in OS/2

Fernando Cassia (fcassia@theoffice.net) have created a new FAQ which includes common questions and advice for OS/2 users who want to run Java applications on Warp 4.0 & Warp Server systems. (Java 1.1.4 or higher versions covered). This document is an attempt to minimize problems for users Installing 100% Pure Java applications for use with Java versions 1.1.4 or higher, on systems for which IBM supports this java version: OS/2 Warp 4.0 and OS/2 Warp Server (SMP or Uni). This is written for end users who have already downloaded and installed the IBM OS/2 Java v1.1.4 VM or higher, plus the latest updates/fixes available.

The initial information comes from my personal experience running many different Java applications for over a year (including the Simplicity for Java IDE) under OS/2 Warp 4.0.
