Joshua, Hobbes' webmaster considers DeScribe as commercial software.
I was told the files that were uploaded did not contain the executable which would
make the update only valuable to those who already have the product. I feel those
who buy whatever left inventory of the DeScribe software SOL for updating it since
the web site for DeScribe has recently disapeared. It was a great wp and thought
it should have been bought up by some other software company.
> My understanding is that DeScribe's makers are now out of business.
I heard they ceased operations a couple of years ago. I could not say who can still
benefit from DeScribe software sales. I would tend to believe that stores who would
still have some inventory left to have had it written off since it is not marketed
or supported anymore making its value quite worthless.
> Who currently holds the copyright?
I don't know which company proceeded to the liquidation but guess they are the only
ones who would know.

I know DeScribe was listed a few months ago on some IBM PSP software list. Maybe
Indelible Blue would still have some left...
Good luck!
