Hi All.
I just tested Download Accelerator 4.0 Beta on my workstation Windows 2000 Professional
and this nice freeware is running here simply fantastic. In order to make a
comparison between GetRight latest version, Download Center (OS/2 Warp) and
this new Download Accelerator I sucked the same file three times. I choose download
Larsen Commander 1.1.7 for this comparative test because the developer web site
is located in Norway, and just today August 04, 2000 the Norwegian link experienced
some problems, configuring the ideal conditions for a test with some difficulties.
I gripped my connection on Windows 2000 using StayOnPro in order to prevent
any broken line. I compared the performances (I used GetRight on NT4 SP6 and
Download Center on Warp 4.5 FP14) and the winner is Download Accelerator!

Take a look on the screenshot above and see which this new release of Download Accelerator is really sophisticated! When I clicked in the Larsen Commander zipfile in order to suck it Download Accelerator immediately shows ALL web sites when this file is available and pinged these sites reporting the speed I will encounter if start my download!

Download Accelerator have a complete Configuration box where you can define the personalizations that you prefer (see photo above). In the screenshot below you can see the download concluded:

Download Accelerator is a file download accelerator/manager that can increase download speeds up to 300 percent. SpeedBit, the developer, was used a special algorithm for this magnificent tool. Download Accelerator is actually one of the most downloaded files and I recommend that you get a copy and try it. I just sucked files with this soft in 50 percent of total time I was consumed using the conventional method (not accelerated) using the old version. Now, with 4.0 Beta, this percentage verified on Win 2000 environment is 35 of total time consumed by not accelerated engines!
