 Hi All.
I'm running just fine here on Warp Client 4.5 FP14. Since FP13 I'm running fine. Some users crashed in several tasks at the new level 4.5 created by FP13, but I have not any problem with this Fix. Now, installed FP14 first edition (he, he, he) I verified that my Warp has been enhanced. In order to install this new Fix I used a method recommended by the computer guru Sandro Coana, a Brazilian engineer that participates of the OS/2 User Mailing List of OS/2 Supersite and the GUOS2BR-L Mailing List (a List for Brazilian OS/2 Users). Coana also recommended that beginners wait some days, because IBM can update his set for this Fix.

How to install FP14

Well, OS/2 user, IBM offers several manners to install FixPaks, including the RSU (you upgrade your level online, quickly and easy, if you have a decent Internet connection). I installed FP14 using QuickFix 1.2.1 by John Saxton, an improved installer that unpack disk images to a directory to be used for the Fix application and install the Fix in text mode screen after a reboot, deferring it in secure mode. When the locked device driver is opened after the level update, your boot screen will shows this message at the left bottom corner:

Internal revision 14.044_w4

In order to install this new FixPak by this method you must follow these steps:

1) Point your browser (or FTP) at this address:

ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes/v4warp/english-us/xr_m014

and  suck all image disks and docs.

2) Download the appropriate CSF jumping to this URL:

ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixtool/english-us/CS_143.EXE

3) Download qf121.zip, available in Hobbes in directory /pub/os2/system/patches/fixpack

or simply get it now here:

Get me!>Click here to download QF121.ZIP (85.2k)
(QuickFix1.2.1. FixPak applicator, ideal for FP14)

This entire pack totalizes above 24 megabytes. You must use a /temp directory to store all files: disk images, the CSF143 unpacked and the qfl121 unzipped. You must also another directory for the Fix installation and you can create one called FP14 in your root. Inside the /temp directory you must enter the QuickFix command (the soft will show for you the correct syntax; in my case I used c:\temp as the source and c:\FP14 as the target as <qf12 c:\temp c:\FP14>) and you will see this screen:

If you are an experimented OS/2 user, choose the option 1 and enter for it. In this case you will see this screen:

Enter the correct drive letter for your Warp root and the Install will ask you about a directory for Archive. When this directory is defined, the QuickFix Install extract all disk images from the /temp directory to the FP14 directory, as you can see in the screenshot below:

When the extraction is concluded, some files are inflated and a screen inform you about the next steps:

Press control+alt+del, follow the instructions that you can see in the screenshot above and that is all. I installed my FP14 by this simple process without problems over a Warp 4.0 + FP13 (Warp 4.5 Client) and now I'm running here just fine.
