OS/390 Version 2 Release 7, available in March, delivers significant enhancements in connectivity, bandwidth, performance, systems management, and security. Enhancements to the Data Facilities Storage Management System improve performance up to 40 times. The integrated Tivoli Management Agent framework enables OS/390 applications to be managed by Tivoli systems management solutions.
