PC DOS 2000, the 15th edition of the classic operating system, is Year 2000-ready
-- it corrects the century information returned by the BIOS in many machines that

IBM PC DOS 2000 enhances the PC DOS 7 operating system, making it
Year 2000 ready. PC DOS 2000 supports the eurocurrency symbol and
handles the century rollover information returned by BIOS in many
older systems.
PC DOS 2000 features:

PC DOS 2000 is the right solution for you no matter what DOS version

This Year 2000 ready solution with development processes certified by
the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) is the way
to standardize on one Year-2000-ready version of DOS. It easily
upgrades from older versions (3.3, or later). IBM offers defect
support to PC DOS 2000 customers through January 31, 2001. If you
purchase an IBM software service contract, the terms and conditions
of that contract determine your entitlement. For information on IBM
software service contracts, contact your IBM marketing organization
or IBM Business Partner.
