Hi All.
We announced
in the main-page of this web site that Digital River are distributing a corrupt
file with 69 megabytes for upgrade Namo Web Editor to version 4.02 and people
email us requesting a most detailed report. Fortunately we made several screenshots.
Namo is a very good web editor and we was using it since version 3.0. It is
also one of the most cracked web authoring tools currently available, because
is the one that offers a perfect WYSIWYG mode, with clean code and inexpressive
CPU usage. And is a very economic soft if you compare it with the very expensive
Macromedia Dreamweaver, Allaire Home Site and others sophisticated replacements
for Notepad...

The firsts releases of Namo are sized around 8 megabytes. When Namo Interactive, Inc., from Korea, decided upgrade the product to the level 4, the trial copy appears available for download in a file with 26MB. We tested it on Windows 2000 Professional GA e when the GA was ready for sheep, yesterday September 25. we decided order it and we was surprised with the size of the file: 69MB! This giant exe must be downloaded in only one file and the server of Namo available on Digital River don't support resume by GetRight or Download Accelerator (see photo above). The customer is encouraged (forced) to use eBot, a buggy download manager exclusive of Digital River. After 14 hours of download we finally get the exe but it is corrupt and don't extract completely the files needed for the Install. We tried re-download the exe but the server refused the download and sent us various messages about errors:
A problem has been found with your order. Please contact Customer Service and provide the following message number:
Message Number: 12
The server could not find a piece of required information. Please contact Customer Service and have your customer number, order number, user name, and password ready and provide the following message number:
Message Number: 57
In first, if have problem with the order for what reason the Digital River secure server don't locked the download? In second, for what reason have two different messages for the same problem? When accessed the Customer Service it simply don't run! We are billed but have not the soft.

Photo above shows the Digital River's Customer Service accessed. The problem is that it simply don't runs...
