Hi Folks.
Today Saturday July 3, 1999 I'm working on my Windows NT 4 SP5 when I decided to scan all HDDs of my PC with Norton Anti Virus 2.0 for NT just live updated. While the Norton is running I was working in C++ IDE. I'm just starting my compiler when the Norton alerts me: "Your computer is infected by the following viruses: W95CIH" and suggests that I will eliminate it by automatic process.
I was surprised because since last May have not more virures here (a jackass has been sent me an ifected CD that was contamined my NT but I was killed all virures just using Norton. I decided to see with high concentration the Norton alert and I'm surprise once again! The Chernobyl viruses is sleeping on HPFS partition of my OS/2 Warp 3.0, inside two Windows compressed files I was forgoted in this partition!
This viruses can't affect my Warp, but if I will be start one of these files I will infect all FAT partitions of my machine! That is the problem: wich Warp on HPFS is not affected by viruses I never scanning it with the Anti Virus for OS/2 I have (Viruscan from McAfee - I'm registered user). I decdided to make this little report in order to alert OS/2 users for this problem. If you have other operating systems in you machine you must be scan ALL HDDs periodically (I recommend one time by each week and I recommend enthusiastically the Norton Anti Virus). Note, I recommend also you became a registered user. Donb't use pirated anti virus simply because it can bankrupt!

You can purchase on-line, by quickly and absolutely secure method. the latest version of Norton Anti Virus at special price simply clicking the Beyond.com logo below. We accept all credit cards!
