New Be-Opera Browser Marks Opera Software's First Step Into Multiple Platform Market

Olso, Norway - 29 July 1999 - Opera Software A/S (Opera) announces the
release of its first non-Windows(TM) browser as a public beta. Making Be-Opera
the first step toward an Opera goal of an Opera browser on all significant platforms.

confirms that the collaboration between our own core development team and the
team of Hern Labs in Sweden has been fruitful. The Be-Opera port has already
