Manual 

  # read README, *.doc and *.htm ..
  - be sure that ext2 fs are fscked  and backup config.sys !
  - mkdir c:/os2/fs/ext2/
  - cd c:/os2/fs/ext2/
  - mkdir [bin|lib|doc|src]
  - unzip ext2_30.zip
  - mv ext2flt.[flt|sym] mwdd32.sys mwdd32.sym -> c:\os2\boot
  - mv *.exe bin
  - mv *.doc *.htm *.inf COPYING doc
  - mv *.lib *.dll ext* lib
  # clean up the rest ...
  - modify config.sys
     PATH/LIBPATH+=c:/os2/fs/ext2
     BASEDEV=EXT2FLT.FLT
     BASEDEV=MWDD32.SYS
     rem: (!! no Daylight saving support (as for AFS/normal TZ ?!))
     IFS=c:\os2\fs\ext2\lib\ext2-os2.ifs -cache:1024 -errors=panic -tz:120
     RUN=c:\os2\fs\ext2\bin\etx2_lw.exe
