About ASA
BMC Software's ASA initiative targets the most costly elements of enterprise
computing - downtime and responsiveness for better user productivity. ASA is the
industry's first innovative approach to dramatically enhance the availability, performance
and recovery of business critical applications. The three key areas focus on:
application availability -- eliminating unplanned outages and minimizing the time
needed for planned outages;
application performance -- understanding current performance, predicting and removing
run-time bottlenecks, improving responsiveness and predicting future application
performance;
application recovery -- ensuring that all assets associated with an application
can be quickly and effectively recovered.
