Hi Folks.
I tested this Wednesday September 08 on my Windows 2000 Professional Beta 3 the version 1.1 of RSJ CD for Windows NT. This fine release is now running just fine here and just solved a problem: now my SCSI CD_ROM drive (HP 6020) is finally discharged, after two months locked by Windows 2000.

I was very scared with my SCSI CD_ROM on Windows 2000 just because this new release of NT (aka NT 5.0) was requesting his CD from Microsoft permanently inserted! If I remove the media from the drive Win 2000 freezes quickly. I tried install Gear on Windows 2000 and have not success. Yesterday I visited the RSJ CD web site and downloaded the version 1.1 for Windows NT in order to test it here. I installed it without problems and I'm simply stupefied when I rebooted forced by the install process! I discovered that because this installation my SCSI CD_ROM is finally discharged! I tested exhaustive RSJ CD Writer here and runs really fine! In the photo below you can see this fine piece of software being installed on my beta test machine (Pentium 200 + 128MB EDO RAM).

Works with RSJ CD is simple and clair. You can't know complicated burning techniques for have success making CDs with all data you intend preserve. Using the RSJ CD Writer you can write files and programs under Windows NT to CD-ROM - whether for backup, information filing or creating multimedia titles. The RSJ CD Writer file system offers  you a whole variety of advantages compared with conventional mastering-programs.
RSJ CD Writer - as a 32-bit-file system - is fully integrated in the Windows NT environment. The CDs are being written in the same way as diskettes or fixed disks. This has the advantage that all  Windows NT programs that are designed to work with files - like the Windows NT Explorer - can also work with the CD Recorder. So commands like COPY, XCOPY or LABEL can be used on the CDs as well. Additional fixed disk space for temporary storage is not  needed.
Unattended operation, i.e. fully automatic operation, possible. During daily operation the CD Recorder can be used like a normal  CDROM. Can be used with all SCSI and IDE host adapters compatible with Windows NT and your Recorder RSJ CD Writer for Windows NT features an API for external applications (write your own  application using RSJ CD Writer functionality!). Morever, using  the RSJ CD Writer you can also process and dreate Multisession-CDs  Likewise, the program offers the possibility to burn audio tracks  onto CDs. And the CDs can be "sealed", that means furnished with a write protection. CD-RW's can be erased (in a CD-RW drive).
